Thank you both for the help.
Saved me a lot of worrying and the feeling of wanting to punt my 360 out into orbit. Going to check it now.
I haven't posted much on these boards at all, but I couldn't find a single thing on the Xbox website about this, and I don't want to contact them again, for I just got my system back yesterday from being repaired. If nessisary I might though.
I recently got my 360 back, and it came with a free month of live. Now that's pretty awesome, i've been thinking about doing that for a while now. I hook it up to the internet, put in the code and I'm a gold member. Halfway while I was playing my internet acted funny and I got disconnected. I'm a patient person, and I can usually wait a while. When I check the system to see if a connection is avalible (You know, the page that you need to log off your account and it goes through the small list), and after that, I log back onto my account, but I notice that my Overlord icon and background and completely gone.
I go back to themes and find that it isn't even on my harddrive anymore. No biggie, I can just download it again - I didn't need it that much anyways...
However, today when I tried to play Oblivion, I tried to load my file and suddenly it says that it doesn't have all the data that is in that file and it would load what it could. I get worried after this and check all the other things I've downloaded... All my arcade games I bought are now demos again... The only things remaining are the videos I bought.
Now, I didn't mind losing the Overlord theme, but losing over 5000 points of downloaded content definately got my panicking. I have NO clue what I did, and I know for a FACT that I didn't go into memory section like a dumbass and deleted all the things I have downloaded. The only thing I even recall deleteing was one of my demos to free up some space on my harddrive.
Please help me, I DO NOT want to buy back over 5k points of things that shouldn't have even disappeared in the first place, I have proof that I downloaded them on live. Is there anyway to get this back? Do I have to contact Microsoft?
Please, help me. Also, sorry for the long boring post.
It's a must rent game.
I rented it for 5 days and beat it within that period. It did take me a while, it being part FPS, but even then, I wouldn't buy it because I don't think I'd feel as though I got my moneys worth from it. It has a GREAT story, and amazingly fun gameplay, but one run through it and you'll know the entire story and be bored of the repetitive enemies.
So rent it, and if you really love it, you can go buy it for 60 dollars.
Like others have said, I found it awfully hard to aim.
I own and played CoD2 nonstop (Part 3 sucked), and some things I wish were in this game was the fact that when you aim at the people's head, I wish your bullet will actually GO IN THEIR HEAD instead of doing some weird thing and completely missing. Another thing I hated was the fact that you couldn't move when you were aiming, you could lean left and right, but that was it. It also felt a little too slow to me.
The things I did like about it though was the weapon upgrade system. The thing is when you get the first upgrade that increases your accuracy, the game is much easier because your shots won't miss NEAR as much. flying down from the plane was also really fun, and the graphics seemed pretty good to me, not at the level of Bioshock, but what is?
Not a bad game, but I'm probably not going to buy it. Rent it - yes.
