Series and franchises that refuse to evolve (or take a wrong step in terms of gameplay evolution) usually end up trailing off. Sometimes it's possible to turn this around, but it usually means taking a radical step in a new direction. (Resident Evil 4 is a prime example of a game that's brought a stagnating series around).

Just wondering whether this series is dead or not, really. Personally, I'd like to see a continuation, but it's been a while since JA came out, and no word on any follow-ups since then.
(Also, before anyone points towards The Force Unleashed, that game seems to be focusing more on force powers than swordplay, and isn't officially a part of this series, anyway)
