I started online gaming in August of 2006 - played City of Villains. Prior to online gaming, I played atari and playstation games. I was addicted right away - actually, still am :P Going through the levels in city was fun, especially when teaming with friends. I had never heard of Ventrilo or Skype - what a noob I was! However, my friends talked me into getting a headset with microphone, and the fun became even more so. Getting to talk to my friends while playing with them in game is such an awesome experience! Since beginning City of Villains, I have branched off to the world of warcraft realm. Such a difference! I loved the costumes I could put on my characters in City, and was disappointed that I could not do that in WoW. The pace was so much slower too! My fastest sprint in city is faster than the first mount in WoW! But, I eventually adapted, and now am addicted to that game as well. My younger brother is a game addict -- he plays all kinds of games. He talked to me about Bioshock, and as I type these words I am downloading the game. I have watched the videos/trailers and I am excited to begin playing, even though once again it will be a new experience for me. I have not played any single player games, so will be a learning experience as well. I like the multi-player realm - getting to know different people and playing on teams. I like role-playing too....
