Shadow of the Colossus
Shadow of the Colossus blurs the line between what is game and what is art.
In 2001, developer SCEA blew a breath of fresh air into the stagnating video game market when they released the sleeper hit, ICO. Sharing the market with a heap of me-too titles and countless sequels, ICO, with its unor... Read Full Review

Virtual Kasparov
Virtual Kasparov just barely succeeds as a video game, and only because it is based on a timeless masterpiece.
Virtual Kasparov is a little-known game for the GameBoy Advance whose title is derived from Garry Kasparov – the most famous name in chess. It hit the scene some five years ago without much notice and has had a tremendo... Read Full Review

Tetris hasn't changed much, but fun NIntendo themes and interesting new modes bring it new life on the DS.

Metroid Prime Pinball (w/Rumble Pak)
It's not a perfect game by any stretch, but developer Fuse Games made this unimaginable duo work splendidly.
Of all of Nintendo's mascots, Samus Aran of Metroid fame has to be the most no-nonsense, serious-as-a-heart attack character of them all. Why it is, then, that Nintendo would allow for her to be dropped into the care-fr... Read Full Review

Skate
Let me show you how I push my wood.

Battalion Wars
War is garbage in this poor, poor excuse for an Advance Wars spinoff.

Star Fox Command
What StarFox really needs is to flip a u-turn and go back to the rail-shooter greatness it used to be.
The Star Fox series has long been divided between two extremes. On the extreme right you have the classics: Star Fox on the Super Nintendo, and its sequel on the Nintendo 64. On the left, the outcasts: Star Fox Adventu... Read Full Review

Hajimete no Wii (w/Remote)
Don't even bother. Get a standalone Wii remote and put the ten bucks saved toward a more competent minigame collection.
It's too simple and uninteresting for seasoned gamers and adult gaming newcomers, too difficult for young 'uns, and handily outpaced by other minigame collections. Wii Play fails in every meaningful way. There are two... Read Full Review

Capcom vs. SNK 2 EO: Millionaire Fighting 2001
Gamers longing for a nice 2D fighter and can adapt to the GCN control setup shouldn't hesitate to give EO a try.
