In the case of saying goodbye, i'd like to think back to Fragile Dreams, it left me with some quite powerful memories of its most touching (and upsetting) moments

[QUOTE="Sheria_K"]Whats that Project Diva in your sig?Metro 2033 was actually a really good game, it had its moments where you could see how it could easily be improved upon, but still, it is certainly one of the better FPS this generation.

It's a series for PSP and Vita, Diva f was released earlier this year. They are just music rhythm games featuring Vocaloid songs, I can't seem to put the game down at the moment.

I have no idea what this sites preferances are so, I don't know. My pick though is Zero Escape: Virtues Last Reward
[QUOTE="Sheria_K"]I'm not a huge fan on modern mainstream gaming, the elements that tend to result in them becoming mainstream in the first place are often offputting to me, that's since around 2005 onwards anyway. Your post however is, quite frankly, full of nonsence and while you may think you have a point, you have not helped yourself one iota with some of what you have chosen to write and the games you have chosen. While your comments on System Shock have merit, I don't think you have even played Bioshock and unless you are going to wave your stupid, pointless argument of it appearing "melodramatic" just because it has what appear to be a couple of emotional scenes, I don't see how you can comment on Infinite being worse. I'd question you ever playing System Shock actually, I wouldn't put it past you to be just echoing what you have heard through word of mouth. We all know the score with CoD though, no point bringing that franchise up. MLBknights58
Replying seriously to a Sniper thread?
I didn''t have a picture to mock him with that you would understand, so I went with a serious post. He did ask me to mind you.
I'll admit they aren't helping, mostly due to very large amounts of marketing and attention on very specific titles. But I don't think they are necessarally rating these games too highly, just overlooking so many equally worthy games that it makes it look as if they are.
I'd hate to be a newcomer looking into games today and relying solely on mainstream media to make my choices as to whats good, or even out there for that matter. I would be left under the impression that there are only about 5 games worth buying in a year.
[QUOTE="Sheria_K"] Your post however is, quite frankly, full of nonsence SNIPER4321No its not. corrupt mainstream media is. we all know GTA5 will only score 10 because of name. Watch Dogs looks better in every way. it is mainstream game but not as much as GTA5.
It will score rediculously high, true. Corrupt though? no, I take issue more with how highly predictable it all is.
I think I can safely say here today that Bioshock Infinite, GTA5 and The Last of Us will all be in the GOTY nominations for next year. But when making this prediction, it's not all down to the critics here, it's the gamers we are talking about as well, and they aren't corrupt.
