I also had some bad freezes when I played GTA IV. Make sure that there isn't a small crack in the inner circle of the disc, thats what was wrong with mine.
And yes that Bioshock achievement is hard but like all the rest that were mentioned its not really how hard they are its more how time consuming they are...

OMG I know, I was playing it yesterday and i was walking trough the imperial city and it really does lack NPC's theres like 4 people walking around! And yes a cape would be uber bad ass! I'd wear a cape in Halo3 lol capes are the best.
