Great!!! Now My PC Dies!!!!

Good friggin lord, i have been left with only my handhelds now, my desktops processor decided to fry on me and i have been left with the remnants of a computer and tears down my face hahaha...no really, its intensely aggravated. I now have took a step down to PS2, PSP, and DS. Yes they are great...but none of them compare to Mass Effect or Lord of the Rings Online for PC, so in about a month and a half i am gettin a new gaming desktop before my second year of school... gah, all i need is patience. annnnnd i love my gf, shes the only thing that keeps me entertained from the computer and technology deprivation.

Thats It..Im Moving to PS3

I have to i cant take it anymore, xbox 360 just isnt appealing to me anymore and i must switch over to playstation 3, i have always been sony faithful, they just escaped my price range thats all...im sorry sony, im on my way

Wii Commercial Music

This is the band that does the music behind the Wii Commercial. They are called the Yoshida Brothers and they are frickin sweet in my opinion. Their music combines the traditional japanese instrument the Shamisen along with a mixture of guitars and drums. THEY ARE AWESOME...check em out.

Akira Live Action in 2009

Heres the article i found about the live action Akira movie from /Film.com

Two Live-Action Akira Films Greenlit, Leonardo DiCaprio Producing, Possibly Will Star

Posted on Wednesday, February 20th, 2008 at 7:55 pm by: Hunter Stephenson

What a strange day for Warner Bros. First, rumors explode today that they're giving the heave-ho to Spike Jonze's Where the Wild Things Are, and now word arrives that they've greenlit two ambitious live-action films based on the landmark Japanese manga and anime Akira, with Leonardo DiCaprio's Appian Way producing. Mere rumor is he may star as the lead character, Kaneda, in the franchise, which will be set in New Manhattan, "a new metropolis rebuilt after being destroyed 31 years earlier." The first film is being fast tracked for summer 2009.

After months of speculation, young Irish director Ruairi Robinson (pronounced Raw-Ree) will direct. We've included two of his rather violent, trippy, head-shot lovin' short films, Fifty Percent Grey and The Silent City, below, so as for you to get acquainted. Variety reports that the filmmakers pitched the flicks as "Blade Runner meets City of God," which is a modestly fitting description for the 1988 film, a kinetic, dystopian vision where young motorcycle gangs roam Neo-Tokyo (rather than New Manhattan) post-nuclear war and all hell breaks loose when one is exposed to a government experiment, thus gaining menacing powers.

Update: AICN reports that Joseph Gordon Levitt has been cast in the role Tetsuo, the motorcycle gang member who develops aforementioned menacing psychokinetic powers. They also report as if Leonardo DiCaprio is definitely a lock for the lead character of Kaneda.

The films will be adapted from creator Katsuhiro Otomo's six volume manga, which provides far more storyline, characters and franchise potential than the previous anime adaptation alone. This news has been a long time coming, so it's cool to see how inspired and charged-up it is, especially with Robinson's involvement. I'm not too big on remaking old visions of the world's future, but it's Akira, so hey, it's an exception. View his short films after the jump.

Article on Director Kazuaki Kiriya

This is the article on the same director, and a little of his upcoming movie Goemon. BeyondHollywood.com

I will give him this: Japanese director Kazuaki Kiriya has a method to burn. As in, if you kept this guy doing music videos, which he was doing before he broke through with the lengthy sci-fi epic (which, in my opinion, was about an hour too long and 50 pages of script too little) "Casshern", you could call him a genius. But put him in charge of a movie, with all the requisites of the art, such as coherent storytelling, and you're asking for trouble. Yes, he'll make you a movie filled with jazz, but good luck ignoring all the plot holes and poor stabs at narrative coherence. But I digress.

Apparently "Casshern" hasn't put anyone off to Kiriya's substance-free method because three years later the director is currently shooting the real-life (?) ninja movie "Goemon", based on the life of legendary 16th century ninja and bandit Ishikawa Goemon, which is scheduled to wrap in November, but don't get in line for the movie just yet. The film may be wrapping up, but the "fantasy actioner" won't be available until March 2009. Why so long? Probably because there is a lot of CGI to be done on the film even after principal photography.

Once he finishes "Goemon", Kiriya will jump onboard Warner Bros. and do what is being called an "alien invasion pic" for them. One only hopes it actually makes some sense, and by that I mean one hopes Kiriya lets someone else write it, because God knows we don't need more "Star Wars" prequels.

Casshern...Badass Japanese Movie

So about five minutes ago i was left emotional, excited and estatic from one of the greatest japanese films i have watched recently. The name of the movie is Casshern, it was released May 15, 2004 and was directed by Kazuaki Kiriya; here is the synopsis via yahoo movies.com.

It is late in the 21st century. After 50 years of devastating war between Europa and the Eastern Federation, the latter has emerged victorious, and the new federation of Eurasia is formed. There can be no glorious peace, however, as the planet has been ravaged by chemical, biological and even nuclear weapons and the entire human race is dispirited and exhausted by half a century of war. A genetic scientist named Dr. Azuma brings hope in the form of a "neo-cell," which can rejuvenate human parts with no risk of rejection. But nature interferes with science to create a new kind of menace that forces the entire human race to fight an ultimate war against its own extinction.

In my opinion the movie is nothin short of phenomenal, great action scenes, awesome special effects, and one hell of an ending. Please dont hold back if you ever come across this movie, or just do me a favor and go see it for yourself. I promise that it wont be a waste of time.

Just Finsished Air Gear

I just finished watching an anime called Air Gear and it was definitely one of the coolest animes(other than Death Note) that i have seen recently. Its not that long, about 26 episodes actually; and tells the story about main character Ikki and his journey to becoming the king of the Air Trek ciruit. Air treks are a series of rollerblades that have become extremely modified, reachin extremely high speed for competition, fighting, and even flying for some users. I liked the story a whole lot and shortly after dowloaded the soundtrack to the series. A band by the name of Skankfunk made the music for the series and they are really cool. If you have the time go and check out the series, i dont think it wil be a waste of anyones time.
