actually, it is a pretty original idea, i think.. at least final fantasy 12's combat system has nothing to do with this games gameplay.. i mean this is not real time combat it's turnbased combat, and it's on a grid field, and u don't pause the game, it's one turn where u control all the marines, press execute button, or end turn.. and the turn plays out, and then on to the next turn...

i think it's pretty cool, but it must have been done before, it must have

anyone here knows a game like that? or hey, maybe warhammer is like that, only not on a grid system, is it?

CARL

Warhammer did do it actually. The old PC title Space Hulk. It's hard as hell but an incredibly fun game once you figure out all it's little tweaks.

I just recently picked up one of these televisions. For some reason I can't get my 360 to work properly on the Insignia 19" in HD. All the cables are connected properly in the back into the component section and the tele is set to Component as well.

It works fine when the 360 adapter is set to "TV" but the second I set it over to HD I just get a blue screen. Thoughts?

No kidding, this game does look pretty sweet. It's been a long while since we have had a decent zombie game. I mean, Dead Rising and "They Hunger" was really the only zombie-based games that did it for me.

X-com: Ufo Defense & Terror From the Deep

Wicked games that can last and last. Always have amazing replayability too. I would give kudos to the Silent Hill series as well.

I personally flew through Bioshock easily in the 20 hour estimate. Roughly a day worth of playing time...but then again almost every FPS aside from Far Cry has been that way. If you want a truely spectacular game that you will leave you wanting to play it over and over again just because of it's pure awesomeness...then Bioshock is the one.

I myself have never been a huge fan of Halo though. Played the first, never the second...most likely a rental or borrow for myself. It's going to be more of the same ol' which is really a tad obvious. There is only so much you can do with a title when you make multiple games in the series. Sure the graphics will be better and your "Finishing the Fight! w00!" but meh...I would go for Bioshock. It's one of the few games where I have actually fallen in love with the atmosphere and simply wandered around Rapture.
