Just saw this on the NCAA 09 Football board. This guy is an EA employee.

Have you played the PS2 and Wii versions of the game? Which would you recommend to a hardcore fan?

If I am being a smart-***, I would say you should buy a PS3 or a 360 to get the best hardcore game....but in last-gen games and technologies I would say PS2 by a mile. Wii is too gimmicky to me, but I must also admit I did not see or play a Wii copy of the game yet.

After much speculation, EA made it official and announced in on 2-14.

Excellent.

Once they came out with Madden for the Wii, I figured it was only a matter of time before we started hearing whispers of NCAA Football, but I have neither seen nor heard anything.

I have Madden for the Wii and love it--played online for the first time yesterday. If EA made Madden for the Wii, will they ever make their NCAA game for the Wii? I would be all over that like stink on a monkey.

As someone getting ready to make the Wii leap, I've been a bit concerened about some things I've been reading about the graphics, but I just saw the IGN review and I think the games looks great. The reviewer apparently did as well.

I am in the process of selecting a console. Really want to go with the Wii but are the developers ever going to get on the ball? Today, Call of Duty 4 is being released. Are we ever going to get to the point where these big releases will include the Wii? I'm not saying whether I would want that particular game or not--just that it would be nice to have the option. Ditto for EA NCAA football and basketball--when Football releases next August, will Wii users get to join in the fun?

Wii is now the best selling console in the land--I don't see how it can be left in the cold for some of these games. Is it a matter of patience or if this is what Iam looking for, I should get a 360? Thanks!
