So now if Microsoft actually makes a new SKU without Kinect, and lowers the price what will the haters have to say? It definitely could happen after this major reversal that nobody (myself included) saw coming.
Right now the major complaints against the XONE (aka reasons PS fanboys will use to keep justifying why the PS4 is better) are these 3 things:
1. PS4 is $100 cheaper - this could potentially change if MS goes with another SKU like they have done in the past, just look at all the different 360 SKU's that came out. Not guaranteed but it could happen.
2. Kinect is a SPYBOX - this is all opinion, based on news stories surrounding MS and the NSA - but until we actually see how it works and if you can actually turn it off, this is pure speculation on what will happen, nothing more.
3. PS4 is more "Powerful" - yet both systems are inferior to the latest PC graphics cards. Wasn't "THE CELL" supposed to "Wipe The Floor" with the 360 back in 2006? I do remember hearing the PS3 loyalists bragging about that during that time. We all know that never happened and Cell technology was scrapped for the PS4. I'm guessing both the PS4 and XONE games will look identical just like this past gen.
I already pre-ordered both the XONE and PS4, so I get the best of both worlds.
@hatieshorrer @soaduk @Balian86 I could care less about graphical comparisons these days, they are really so miniscule I don't see much of a difference, I grew up with Atari 2600 and the NES, to have the graphics and capabilities in games today is fucking amazing to me no matter what system. It seems the younger generation is so spoiled, I read "these graphics suck" in some threads here. Try playing NES games at your age and realize how good you have it people!
@mlp071 @shaemar @Balian86 I was told the same thing the other day yet I used to post on GS from 2001-2005 and was at System Wars most of that time, I started up a new account as my old password is on a computer that died years ago. It seem if you don't agree with the majority here you are a "paid MS employee" or some shit. But getting back to the main post, the PS4 is hardly PS3.5, and the negative press is NOT good for Microsoft bro, yes casuals will still buy it but it's already losing in the reputation department. I could care less as I have pre-ordered both PS4 and XONE but to say its PS3.5 is really a joke..
@FAIL_TR0LL @josh7845 This. People watched the demo and thought it was all QTE's but that was Crytek's fault for not showing more gameplay without the finishing moves. Especially with all the hate XBOX is getting more people are looking at the games and nitpicking trying to find more ways to hate it. So Ryse is thought of as the QTE game, but once again people are mislead to believe that.
