One New Blog Coming Up!

A few days ago I watched the Legend of Chun Li. I will just let this meme speak for me first.

For one, I don't know what I was thinking. Assuming this movie would be good, but I should know by now movies based on games never turn out as well as planned(Minus RE). The movie itself had a lot of potential to be good, but seemed rather rushed and confusing instead. The commercial trailer looked good(When I saw it at that time), never(And I mean NEVER) assume a movie is good just because it had a good commercial.
The storyline of course is about Chun Li(Which is my favorite character :D). By the time the movie was over I was like,"What the heck did I just watch?". Seriously, the movie is confusing enough, but the way the special moves were portrayed by the actress was so bad it ended up laughable. Ex., they ruined the spinning bird kick.

See what I mean? I know the spinning bird kick can't really be pulled off in real life, but the least they could do was make it look believable. I don't think she even hit them. Another thing I thought was weird was how in the game, Chun Li's mother was never mentioned. But in the movie, BAM! There she is. At first, I was so confused in so many ways(I still am), but I just said forget it;I already paid for the movie (Rental only, Praise Jesus).
What makes it bad the most is how the storyline doesn't even tie together and the acting. Another thing, am I the only one that lives on this earth and got confused by M.Bison having a daughter? That just made me even more confused. Then they had characters in the movie I haven't even heard of before in my life. At least Taboo(The person who portrayed Vega), did what he needed to get and got out(Despite the fact that he was possibly the best actor out of the whole thing).
I am just going to end here and eat cake to calm my nerves.
