Every GTA game makes at least ONE negative portrayal of the real world. For instance, GTA IV was clearly critical of American patriotism (and I'm not even American) No one gave that game a negative score because of that, because, well, it's a SATIRE. All GTA's are that way, and in a way it makes them unique...
@djimenez0628 I got both Skyrim and Dishonored for PS3. After more than 100 hours of gameplay in a single game file, I was never bothered by glitches or bugs in Skyrim (except for a stupid patch that ruined that game file. Thanks Besthesda). I haven't had any trouble with Dishonored either, so far. If you are still skeptical because of Bethesda's negligence (that's justified, really. the lack of support for PS3 users is blatant), then you should rent Dishonored first. Either way, you won't be let down.
While I'm not going to deny that I was very impressed by this game, I hope Ubisoft isn't just showing us a part of the game that is highly scripted. I'm really hoping you are able to free roam and be able to cause traffic accidents like the one we saw in this video whenever you want, with the same dynamic reactions the AI had in this video. Hell, it all seems so real; compared to the almost careless car crashes in the GTA series I saw truly authentic reactions from pedestrians.
These games are easy to pick up and play and anyone who does not even know what a video game or a console is can play them and master them in less than 2 weeks, that is why these games are so popular. I played these games for a month or 2, but that was because I could just pick up and play them, and I had nothing else to do. After that, I stopped playing. I'm not the only one on FB who has done the same. I remember seeing Level 43 Farmville players, with big-a$$ farms and loads of money, but they did not play anymore. What I do not like about these games is that they lack depth. No story, no true objective, nothing that really inmerses you into the game. The main reason people play them is because they can interact with their friends: send them gifts, visit their places, help them out, etc. If they did not had those features I guarantee you that not too much people would play these games.
