I am not connected to a router, i'm plugged directly into it.

My internet worked before, when i had Vista 32, the problem is just with a new win 7 64. I've looked this up on the internet before, apparently its a problem, but the other solutions haven't worked for me

I just recently upgraded from Vista32 to Win 7 64 and was pleased to see that everything went accoring to plan. Except there is no internet.... It says this when i troubleshoot the issue. "Local Area Connection" doesn't have a vaild IP configuration...... This is really pissing me off, ive been working on different soultions for hours now. I have tried resetting the Network Adapter ( a Marvell Yukon 88e8001/8003/8010 PCI Gigabit Ethernet Controller) Ive updated the drivers... tried stopping some apple process thought to be the problem on other machines (obviously not on mine... Hell it wasn't even there). Basically i've run outta ideas, please help me

Hmmm well that would mean that it was the original file encoder, not me... I haven't altered these files in any way... so im assuming you dont know a workaround?

I have reinstalled Oblivion and modded out with FCOM and a few other mods, however, that doesnt really have anything to do with my problem, which is why its so odd... I wanted to change up the music for oblivion and found some really good pieces that came from my XRAY DOG collection but only like 1 or 2 of them play... specifically the Battle music wont play at all.... The only pattern i can see with which songs play and which dont is the ones that dont play are from one specific album... other than that everything is the same. Any ideas on what the problem is? or better yet, how to fix it?

I don't want to redownload but i think i will have to...It does cost money lol thats why i didn't just do it in the first place.

Maybe i will get a job at valve and eventually work my way to the servers and bust em up.... Hmmmm..... A plan for another day.

Well I hate steam, so i thought i would turn to this community before i email the valve guys. I was wondering if there is anyway to delete a steam account and all the junk associated with it (Ie. Games downloads...etc). The thing is I bought Orange box when it came out and installed it with an old steam account that i don't use any more. Recently I made a new account and of course when i tried to install orange box again it said the CD KEY was in use by another account. I heard that it costs 10 bucks to have valve transfer it. I want to know if there is another way to delete the account and the stuff its linked to, without having to break into Valve's HQ and bust up some servers lol.

As the title might suggest, i cannot connect to any games on COD 4 at all. Could this be due to the internet i have??? I have DSL from Fairpoint so im not a PS 3 expect and i dont know if i cant play online. Not only that but i have my PS3 set up wirelessly. I would love to play online but if the internet i have cant support that i guess i heav no choice. A few times i have connected to a game but both times it said the host disconnected. It hasn't told me my ping was too high or anything, although when i was in the game my ping was high, the connection bars on the right were in the red, the last red bar :( O well any help is appreciated Thanks

Well I bought the Ageia PhysX processor about a year ago along with a new Video Card and Power Supply. Well When everything was in and working i tried playing some physic intensive games, like Crysis. Along with Crysis i also downloaded a free game that was designed to play with the Ageia. When playing this Ageia game (Cellfactor Revolution). I realized that my card was not working. I looked for more updated drivers, but no luck. I forgot about it but just recently i wanted to see if i could get it working, so i came here. The only thing i think it could be is that it wont work because i have an nVidia 9800 GX2 which i believe has its own Ageia Core, but i thought i could have aseparate one for just physicsalleviating the work load on the GX2. Any help is appreciated. Thanks
