So I've started a new Re-Roll guild called The Remnant.

I was bored last week and decided I would join a Re-Roll guild on a new server. So I get to looking around and choose one. Well...the GM was a flaky douche and peaced out on the 2nd day, leaving no one in charge. We waited 3 days and then I figured hell, I can do this. So we reformed the re-roll with the people we had, and named it The Remnant.

I am hoping it does well, I'm kinda excited to have another 70.

I am a day 1 WOW player. I could get into a huge long history of my WOW career but lets not. I've been the GM of very sucessful guilds twice, and resigned both times. Not negative resignations, just "moving on" type resignations. I am still kinda interested in guild leadership and am looking for my next growth opportunity. I see my WOW career as a learing experience. I have learned a lot about community, and leadership, and people skills and management. I was surprised at how much I have changed due to playing WOW.

Can it get any crazier than this week for gamers?

My week in gaming started with that retarded podcast from IGN where Jeff whines and moans about the PA boys talking about game sites reviewing practices. Following the podcast, and after reading some reaction on it, I proceeded to cancel my IGN Founders Club membership. My $50 isn't a whole lot in the grand scheme of things I suppose, but $50 is $50 and I have the freedom to choose what I do with it, and I am NOT gonna give it to the little babys over at IGN. I LOVE Fargo, he is basically why I joined IGN and gave them my money, but that podcast was just unreal and so I'm done there.

So.. I went looking for a new home mid week. I knew a few people who frequent Gamespot so I decided to throw my hat over here, as opposed to 1up. I love this website's interface, and the rewards system and just the small stuff that make it a little different then the others.

THEN comes the Jeff Gertsman issue. Now.. I haven't been here long, and I don't know Jeff from a hole in the wall. I've watched his Kayne & Lynch video, and I think it's fine, it's his opinion and he was paid to give it. I think my issue is more with the principle of the whole thing. Gamespot has to think we are completely retarded if they are trying to think we will believe his 6.0 and the Eidos threats are unrelated to his firing.. I'm not 10 years old, I've been gaming since the beginning of human civilization and this whole situation is garbage. If it has nothing to do with his review, why has the video been taken down????!!!!

Anyways, considering I've already jumped ship once this week, and this membership is 10x cheaper then my IGN one, I am gonna stick around and try to get into this community.
