Halloween Town

So I guess this has turned into my personal place to write about the progress of my games. I made it through Atlantis...but with some difficulty. I'll tell you what, Ursula is a real pain to beat! Almost impossible. I'd leveled up twice by the time I beat her. Now I'm off to Halloween town. I must say, I'm a very fond of The Nightmare Before Christmas so naturally I was very excited to see this has been incorporated into this game. I love Jack! And Sally is just precious. So I'm not very far into Halloween town but according to people that have already played the game including my brother says that Oogie Boogie is sickenly easy to beat. So I'll guess that we'll just have to see. My brother on the other hand is trapped at Hollow Bastion, that place is just one huge maze if you ask me. I watched my boyfriend trying to play hollow bastion on Saturday last week and he got confused. Maybe I'll be able to figure it out when I play it when I get there if I ever get there. But that is all that is going down at the moment. I'll update when I've moved forward in the game again.

:)

Keeping up with KH and tales of Harry P.

What can I say? I made it through Monstro in record time I swear! It's that chamber four that is so tricky to find! Crazy! So I moved on to Atlantica. Only went through the beginning part because it was three in the morning...at three AM the controls for swimming are way too complicated. From what I understand, Ursula is really hard to beat. So we'll see how that goes today.

In other news, my best friend Jessie let me borrow her copy of Harry Potter six!!! I finished reading it in just under two days. It took about six hours to read all together. What a crazy book! So many tears!! I couldn't believe it! I'm not gonna spoil it for anyone don't worry. But I was truely shocked!! There was a lot of "Holy Crap!" from me and such. I would recommend that it be read. In a way it is a very political book. It mirrors what's going on in today's society almost completely. I can't wait for the movie to come out in November! A whole group of us are gonna go!

More Kingdom Hearts

So,

Since i posted last I've made it through Wonderland, Deep Jungle, and Agrahbah. I'm not sure where I'm going right now because I'm in Traverstown, but I'm thinking it might be Halloween Town. I've decided that I really like this game, but it can prove to be very difficult. More so than it actually looks. I often times find myself having problems with the difficulty of it. I think one of the main reasons is the way the camera angles move. You need to use L2 and R2 instead of the right analog stick. It gets very frustrating sometimes.

Kingdom Hearts

I'm currently playing Kingdom Hearts on the PS2. And I never thought that Disney could create such a dark video game. I love it though. I think that it is excellently done and am considering buying Kingdom Hearts II. But the game it self is fairly difficult though. And it requires a lot of cognitive skills and problem solving. It reminds me of Zelda in a lot of ways. I am having trouble in Wonderland though. I just started playing the game a few days ago and I'm still trying to get a feel for the way the controls work. But I think I'm starting to grasp the idea some. It also helps that I've watched my brother and my boyfriend play the game already, so I've seen the entire game played to an extent already and really like what I see. But each gamer reacts differently to games. My brother is great at fighting and staying alive. I'm not so hot at it yet, but I can solve the riddles and find them missing pieces of puzzles and mazes faster than he can. :D

I'll catch back up when I've managed to move forward in the game. I have not been able to do so yet.
