i have an xbox fan i baught from curry's, also seen em in argos and woolworths. And on ebay. it plugs on to the back of the console and uses the same power supply as the xbox dose. e.g: power cable plugs into the back of the fan and the fan clips onto the back of the console plugging into the power cord slot. it has 3 fans sucking all the hot air and dust from the console.
It is also positioned on a metal tin allowing the vents underneath to suck clean air in. and i also have it opasit a window, infront of the window i sit a small desk fan wich sucks cool air into the room allowing cooling for me and the console. lol
I have played my console continuously for 11 hours without overheating. Gameing bingde with mates.
Hi i have a U.S Robotics router i picked up from ebay for £5 all you have to look for is a router with 2 or more either ports.
Then you may want a second ethernet cable, cat 5. preferably. 1 for the computer to router then a second from router to the xbox. the router i have also has a ADSL line for connecting to your phone line or modem. hope this information is somewhat helpfull.
Yeh i have a router, but that didnt help, its plugged in and the lights are green telling me that i have some thing connected, but the router says i have an invalied IP address, also.
How can i get the dongle to share the IP address. or how did you get it to connect?
Iv spent hours looking through the fourms, so sorry if im repeating some one else.
