looks like this guy was just trying to get linux back on the ps3. if it was one of the PSN hackers, i'd say say lock him up for good. but not for this.starwarsjunkyProblem with that is if you let one go for that others will claim that technicality. People need to be held accountable for their actions, while I do understand his motives this is a issue that needs to be stomped out and if some people do some time thats that I guess. One pillar of the legal system in most country is deterrence, if people see someone get some jail time they are hopefully more likely to not do it them self. Yes I know that cases will be herd in all different countries but thats why we have persuasive precedent. Which allows judges, justices, magistrates what ever they may be to give a ruling based on another decision from a court below them in their hierarchy or one from completely outside it. Sorry to post all that on you post but just wanted to say it and the first part was related :)
