Yes, but not every story uses a single plot device to resolve everything like MGS4. I mean Kojima's writing in general. Most of the cutscenes in MGS3, for instance (which I played most recently and remember best) were just endless repetition of stuff I already knew. The game beats you over the head with what's going on.[QUOTE="DarkLink77"]

Well, at least you're being more specific now. As for your specific complaints, every story uses plot devices, so that's not really a valid criticism. As for "unnecessary repetition due to poor editing", I'm not quite sure what you mean there. Do you mean MGS4 specifically (which I haven't got very far in) or Kojima's other games?

I'm still in the process of playing MGS4, so I'd rather not discuss that game until I've completed it. Nevertheless, none of the previous Metal Gear games (I've completed all of them from the MSX games up until Portable Ops) ever used a single plot device to resolve everything (which isn't something Kojima would usually do in his previous games).
As for repetition, I don't necessarily see how that's a bad thing in MGS3's case. Considering how MGS2 was criticized for its lack of clarity, it only makes sense for MGS3 to be a lot more clear with its storyline, so I find it ironic how you're now criticizing Kojima for being a bit too clear with MGS3's storyline.
People are just being people, the man cant have an opinion that goes against their own, or he sucks and hes this and that.
Even if MGS were to be ridiculous, that only would Crysis even more so...
