If at all possible, plug your 360 directly into the cable modem just to diagnose if its either your router or the logitech thing thats causing the issue.
Sounds like 2 different issues.
Random freezing could just be bad / dirty discs, amongst other things.
Otherwise, How, exactly, is your xbox connected to the internet? I would suspect the issues are probably with your router, assuming you are using one.
I'll never understand why people say that Gears and Halo are not comparable.
You're a guy, with guns, who needs to use a crosshair in the middle of the screen to shoot at aliens with said guns.
Yes, there are certainly some differences, but not that hard to draw a large amount of similarities.
Oh, and in case my previous post was not clear enough. Halo (the franchise) is clearly a labor of love, but not perfect. Gears is pretty and visceral, but very shallow.
Halo = Having Sex.
Gears = Watching crazy porn.
You decide.
I'm not very impressed personally.
The obvious issues are the controls and camera. Both of which are good ideas on paper, but are not realized in-game.
Graphics are nothing to write home about, but i will give the animations a nod.
There is a certain fluidness to the gameplay, but only when played correctly. I could arguably say the same about all of tony's games. In other words, its really, really easy to make the game look broken, simply by being a novice.
Lastly, the game, contrary to the hype, certainly does not take a super realistic approach to skating. By the end of my thirty minute demo, i was pulling front flip, 360 grabs off a 2 foot fun-box. Yes, a little more realistic than tony hawk, but far from a 'skate video'.
I dont know, im still waiting on my rewards from the last one.Chris-334
If you are referring to the Old Spice challenge you should have gotten your prizes instantly, assuming you remembered to "finish the challenge" at xbox.com/rewards by clicking on the button. Not sure if you still can as the contest is technically over, but good luck.
I've read what i can about home, yet i still don't see anything other than a 3d chat room with minimal activity.
Comparisons to second life are shallow at best. As far as features and functionality, second life blows home out of the water. A comparison to Furcadia (look it up) seems more reasonable.
