the possibility of good games coming out in the somewhat near future is a pretty bad reason to buy a game system.

because you owe the company a debt of gratitude for quality products in the past is even worse!

Being able to keep a large amount of paper from being blown away by wind, or holding open a significantly heavy door are both better reasons to buy anything, letalone videogame console that costs several hundred dollars.

Hmmm... Perhaps the 360 does have a lot of highly rated shooters, and maybe a disproportionate number of it's big sellers are shooters. But....

Even if you took away every shooter on the 360, it still has a better library than the PS3 (including shooters), so I guess that makes the argument kinda pointless and dumb, don'tcha think?
