This is the first in a series of opinon polls I will be posting to satisfy my own curiosity on what GS people consider to be the best of the best!

Obviously this is completely your own opinons, and I'd like to have you guys fill in feedback wherever possible - if you have something to add, add it! I'm interested in knowing the reasons for people's opinions too, so feel free to say why you chose what you did. It should be fun to see the differing opinions for people throughout GS! Tell your friends too, the more the merrier!

Poll: Favorite Game Genre

With all the different genres out there games can easily be classified and give a general idea of the type of gameplay involved. Some games are even genre-benders, where they are a mix of two genres. Most of those are smaller, but I'll list a couple in here.

My personal choice for favorite genre are shooters. Whether first or third person, they make up the majority of my game collection, and I find them to be the most interesting. As much as I love strategy and RPG games, there's nothing quite like blasting enemies with all sorts of ballistic weaponry, whether it's a third person game like Gears, or a first person game like Bioshock, Call of Duty, or Rainbow Six. Shooters definitely win my vote!
