I just got Kessen III today and am so far impressed. I have been a fan of the series and loved the first one and thought the second was decent. Some of the more noticeable changes include battle selection. This allows a more non-linear game.
You control units on the battlefield in a strange way, It's almost like an action game but with strategy elements. It works very well. Equipping characters is also a welcomed edition to the series, as it adds more than just mindless fighting.
You play as the Oda Nobunaga, in most games he is revered as a villain but it seems to show us a different story in K3.You start off as a young lord defending your realm that is constantly under attack. I won't give way to too much, so as not to ruin the game for others. Thus far the Story is very intriguing and has held my attention for most of the game. I'm about 7 hours in and I'm not bored yet, so I think it was a good purchase.
In other news, I can't wait for March. So many good games and of course the PsP. My current list of wants is
DMC3
DBZ Sagas
Dynasty Warriors 5
Musashi Legend
God of War
Tekken 5(although it will be out the 25th)
SW:republic commando
SC:CT
And probably some more that I've forgotten. My PsP will be coming with Twisted Metal, MGA , and Rengoku.
This weekend I'm going to go see Constantine, everyone says it's good. Keanu is a fairly good actor and I expect that it might be a let down from other people's impressions but hopefully not by much.
That's all for now.
