Would also like to comment about ads - will not longer be accessing your site via mobile.

Have been getting pop-up ads (on mobile) that wind up directing me away from Gamespot entirely and forcing open the App Store on my phone; got a malware link this morning that advertised my phone "being at risk." I'm not looking to have a bricked smartphone, all from looking at gaming news, so I'll be visiting other websites from now on.

Edit: This is in the U.S.

Best looking? Eh...

Not going off of gameplay, storyline, side-stuff, etc., and off graphics alone...

I thought Assassin's Creed had good graphics, though I do not play in HD.

I'm sorry, but where did this question come from?

I haven't noticed any such movement (I'm not saying there ISN'T one, but I haven't noticed any games that push the boundaries further than have been).

You say that games are pushing farther...which ones?

As for nudity, I don't think it's bad in a game, but it's like a movie...it's okay for nudity, but the majority of movies (and games) you get, you're watching (playing) for the action, not the nudity. As long as that's kept in mind by the developers, I see no real issue.

Many of the major titles that I was looking for to this year (Mercenaries 2, Saints Row 2, Left 4 Dead, possibly Fable 2, etc.) feature awesome co-op multiplayer options...if you have Xbox Live.

Unfortunately, after paying the $250 for an Xbox 360, then the $60 per game, the only things left in my wallet are my grimace on a license and dust. Simply put, I can't afford (and refuse to pay for, if I could) Xbox Live, because I've already thrown in $310+ to Microsoft to play ONE game, not counting the others I purchase as well.

Is it too much to ask for more local co-op games? I would like to have my buddy over to play so that I actually feel like I have a life and that my friends aren't pixelated. I do not see why I must pay for a game and then pay extra to play the game that I OWN in a specific way. The phrase "the rich get richer" comes to mind.

Luckily, Gears of War 2 is coming out soon with split screen. Unluckily, it's the only interesting game that is. I'm still buying Mercs 2, Saints Row 2, and Fable 2....but it's devastating how little co-op local games there are.

Any others share my displeasure?

Dang man. Looks like you're out of luck.

Maybe wait for Battlefield:Bad Company at the end of this month?

I was afraid of that.

And I'll be looking into it. Doesn't look like a bad game.

I've had my Xbox 360 since Christmas and I'm already running out of games to play. I'm not big into sports or racing, I prefer RPG, strategy, and shooters. The list below are the games I've already played and/or beaten. Please post if you have any more suggestions. =) Thanks.

Honestly, I'm just looking for distractions until the fall/winter when all of the games (hopefully) come out, like Gears of War 2, Fable 2, Mercs 2, etc...

And I do not have Xbox Live, sadly.

-Army of Two
-Bioshock
-Rainbow Six Vegas (1 and 2)
-Oblivion GOTY Edition
-Gears of War
-Assassin's Creed
-Dead Rising
-LOTR: Battle for Middle Earth 2
-Splinter Cell: DA
-Mass Effect
-Orange Box
-Grand Theft Auto IV
-Halo 3
-Rock Band
-Guitar Hero 3
-Saints Row
-Call of Duty 4
-Command and Conquer: Tiberium Wars
-Hitman: Blood Money
-Shadowrun
-FEAR

Any suggestions?

We don't talk about GTA for Wii, specially not GTA4.

Cesar_Barba

Sorry, but that made my day. =)

Tell you what. I'll trade you my GTA4 for some Zelda. =( That's the sole reason why I want a Wii (now that RE5 has been announced on 360 instead of being a Wii-exclusive)

GTA5: The World Is Your

the game pretty much to be the greatest gangster in the world.

or

GTA5: Vegas

roan23
After playing the Rainbow Six series... No more games with Vegas in it (They weren't bad, I just think games are burning out the thrill of Vegas). Besides, Las Venturas from San Andreas is supposed to be based mainly off Vegas, I believe.

Gotta be careful about location. Take-Two doesn't want to get a lawsuit over racism. Also, for a "world" GTA...that's not a bad idea (how can you be racist to include everyone?) but it would take a large amount of disc space and time to create. Those don't sound like problems right now, but when the game keeps getting delayed, people will become upset; when the game is on 4 discs or needs to take a large amount of space on your harddrive, people will become upset. I'm currently playing GTA4 and am not too concerned about the next one quite yet. ;) I'll let Take-Two do their job (making awesome games) and I'll do mine (playing awesome games).
