I REALLY REALLY want a pre-built computer for around $500. I saw this PC and thought that it had good specs for the games I plan to play. Plus it has a decent amount of RAM/Hard Drive. No, I am not buying an Alienware.
http://us.gateway.com/gw/en/US/content/model/PT.GCRP2.003 All I wanna do is play stuff like TF2, CSS, L4D, and maybe some more modern games like Batman Arkham Asylum. It should work, right?
Hey guys. I wanna upgrade the things inside of my PC for gaming. Here's the specs. I want to be able to play more newer games, but I want to be able to play stuff like CS Source, TF2 and L4D (etc.) with literally no lag. Please help? OS: Windows XP Professional (5.1, Build 2600) System Manufacturer: HP Pavilion 061 BIOS: Pheonix - AwardBIOS v6.00PG Processor: AMD Athlon(tm) 64 Processor 3800+, MMX, 3DNow, ~2.4GHz RAM: 958 MB DirectX Version: 9.0c I should also add that my PC is running slow in general. If you guys could actually tell me a good desktop computer for my needs, that would work better. Building the PC would be a last resort for me. Please help a fellow gamer. Thanks.
No dude. Those crap specs are real. I just added Cyberdyne Systems to f**k with your heads. Anyway, I'll build it if I have to, but I'd you guys know of a already built desktop gaming computer that works just fine for what I need (and the future) that would be better.
So you're saying that I should sell this PC to the guy that I got it from and save up for another desktop? That's cool. Do you guys recommend a specific one for gaming that isn't too pricey?
I'd love to only buy parts individually and manually put them in myself without entirely building a PC. I don't really have a budget, unless it would be cheaper to buy a new PC. I spent $200 on this one anyway, so I might as well buy parts on another website that sells them. Oh and I forgot to mention that the RAM this HP Pavilion a1410n uses is DDR PC3200 with a maximum of 1 GB per slot. (4 Slots)
