I'll be getting it simply because Search and Destroy is still my favorite multiplayer mode in pretty much any game ever, and I'm interested in the futuristic setting. I understand why people have negative opinions about Call of Duty but I still enjoy it, which is all that really matters in my opinion.

I'd wait for Minecraft, but a game series that lasts a LONG time due to sheer difficulty is Geometry Wars.

So I'm playing through Mass Effect 2 using a save file from Mass Effect 1... in Mass Effect 1 I had a romance subplot with Liara, which seems to have carried over because she kissed me when I visited Illium. Is it possible to pursue a romance with Miranda or Jack even if this carried over?

All of these I think are better shooters than Halo.

To be honest, I've never played Goldeneye. I had an N64 when I was a little kid but I only played Super Mario 64. Out of what I've played, Halo is the best console shooter out there, with Call of Duty 4 a little bit behind it.

As far as I know, it's gone for good. I know that in Special Ops you can see your progress from the pause screen if you want to check in a game, I haven't played enough multiplay to remember if it's there too.
