Bethesda doesn't learn lesson, makes same mistakes with Skyrim
This game could have been great and I expected it to be better given Bethesda's extremely lengthy experience with games like this, but they just made the same mistakes that they made with Oblivion. Yes, I'm talking about... Read Full Review

S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Shadow of Chernobyl
Great game for the first few hours, then it gets a little repetitive. Not much depth, length or re-playability.
It's a solid FPS with very few RPG elements. The graphics are acceptable, but even on low settings, the game staggers in some parts of the game but plays fine in others, rather inexplicably. So make sure you have a monst... Read Full Review

Galactic Civilizations II: Dread Lords
A nice game if you have some time to kill, but nothing special. Seriously overhyped.
The game is interesting and can waste some of your time, but there is nothing special about it. You own a fleet of ships, can build/design more, research parts, colonize planets, build structures, fight, and that is abou... Read Full Review

Soldiers: Heroes of World War II
Soldiers: Heroes of World War 2 introduces new featues to the RTS genre, making it a fun, innovating and addictive game.
At first, Soldiers: Heroes of World War II seems like another RTS with destructible environments and fairly good graphics. However, the game also plays like a third-person action game (a good one) and has elements of an ... Read Full Review

Nexus: The Jupiter Incident
Great game, but it lacks something that would have made it simply amazing: Skirmish modes and Freedom.
The title basically says it all. This game is a masterpiece when you play the campaign for the first time. The ships are very detailed, can be given complex orders and allow for many strategies to be implemented. You con... Read Full Review

Mass Effect
Great package, little content.
This is basically your average X-Box game ported to the PC. The graphics are great and so is the voice acting. The plot is also quite captivating. Unfortunately, it all ends there. The combat is interesting at first, but... Read Full Review

Faces of War
Excellent game that will take many hours to complete, but unfortunately has limited replayability.
FoW features very innovative (with the exception of SHOWW2) gameplay elements. It is extremely detailed compared to most other RPG games. I think a good way to describe this game is by comparing it to CoH. CoH basically ... Read Full Review

Sins of a Solar Empire
Good re-playability and customizability, but not much quality.
When I read some of the descriptions of this game, I expected something with the tactical depth of Nexus: The Jupiter Incident or at least X3, and the strategic flexibility of Galactic Civilizations 2. Instead, I got a g... Read Full Review

Titan Quest
Primitive graphics, mind-numbingly simplistic gameplay, choppy, etc...
Where to start. It's basically your average point-and-click RPG where you kill stuff, talk to people, get loot, sell it, rinse and repeat. It reminds me of Diablo, except that it has been created years later. The charact... Read Full Review
