Is it just me, or has there been more and more grade A games coming out? I remember the days when there was one or two amazing games among many mediocre ones. Now it's starting to turn around. This year especially.

I started this year thinking it'd be an easy year on my wallet gaming wise, but I was sorely mistaken. I'm already behind on games I want. I'm missing Mortal Kombat and Need For Speed: Hot Pursuit as it is. Now games like Brink and LA Noire are coming out. Followed by the ever so awesome Duke.

That's only the coming month. I'm not even going to dive into the games coming out farther along. I've had to of bought at least ten games this year already. Including a couple arcade titles. I've purchased Dead Space 2, Bulletstorm, Fallout New Vegas, Portal 2, Crysis 2, Pokemon White, Braid, and Outland so far. I know I'm forgetting a couple.

In conclusion, I think it's great there are more and more top notch games arriving on the scene. I just wish I could either afford them, or that the release dates were spread out.

So I'm actually deciding to write a blog post in...wow it's been almost three years now. I don't even know if anyone will read this XD But I'll post some of my current gaming happenings.

First off, I bought myself some sweet, sweet Portal 2. Got it on release. And boy was that a good game. Definitely among one of the best games I've ever played. Excellent story and everytime I completed a puizzle I felt so accomplished. yaay XD I absolutely cannot wait for the extra DLC coming this summer. I'm craving more Portal.

I also picked myself up a copy of Crysis 2. I can definitely agree that it is one of the best looking games on console. No doubt. As for the gameplay, I'm only a little ways in but it doesn't seem as much fun as I thought it would be. Slightly difficult and enemies see you to easily. But the gameplay and story is growing on me and I'm hoping to beat the game this week and hop into the multiplayer.

So that's my latest gaming news. I think I'm also gonna get the arcade game Outland. I heard some great things about it. Any inputs? So I might just start posting a bit more. Especially with all these great games coming out this year. There's gonna be a lot to talk about.

I completely forgot for some outlandish reason. (haha outland XD) But I've been playing the Gears 3 beta because I have Bulletstorm. Bulletstorm was awesome by the way. But the Gears Beta is absolutely amazing. I'm addicted and cannot wait for the full game. The one thing I've noticed about the beta is the damage increase. It feels as if I die quite a bit easier. And that sawed-off shotgun maan. Haha no complaints because it's definitely weighed out with the other weapons with it's long reload and whatnot. But it gets me quite often XD

In other news, I now own Metal Gear Solid 4. SWEET. On the 22nd I will own Guitar Hero On Tour and on the 29th I will own Guitar Hero Aerosmith. Cant freakin wait.

Yea. So its officially announced. Its coming out in November. I cant freakin wait. I wonder what its gonna build on....because the first Gears was so close to perfect. Im hoping for a better storyline and less lag online.

So I'm working to get the full 1000 achievement points on Guitar Hero III. I got most. I just need need 11 more achiements. Here they are...and any tips on getting them would be greatly appreciated!
