hard life

Oh man...since i had my cancer surgery back in march i've been recovering, and I guess i got a little out of shape.  I've been trying to run and keep lifting, but I guess my wrestling coach expected me to come back even stronger than last year?...what the heck.
SO...now I have to come to school at 4 every morning to run with my coach for an hour, then lift before school starts, then have another 3 hour practice after school.  For those of you that didn't know, I was the state champ for wrestling last year and the year before, i lost 2 matches my freshman year and went undefeated last year...I don't think I lost anything over the summer.  But whatever...I guess he wants me in tip-top shape to ensure my high school run or whatever...blegh.  I'm still waiting for the state to unify divisions so we can have a solid champ instead of like 10 different ones...so many different divisions of wrestling and so many leagues...not even the styles are unified, and it's impossible to wrestle someone of a different style because of scoring differences.  Hopefully that'll happen before my senior year and things'll get interesting...until then, i'm going to be zoning out waiting for conditioning to end...god help me.

Fun...

I'm trying not to give in and buy ANOTHER Madden game...but I can't live without my football, and this year's fantasy line-up just isn't cutting it.  Oh well....I'll probably just give in soon anyways.

In other news I got promoted to officer in the all around union today.  I'm pretty pumped about that.  Thanks t-roland for the promotion, i'll be sure to do my best..

UPDATE:...I bought madden

today...yeah

I just felt like putting something up here...so why not about today. Well...school doesn't start for another week...wrestling doesn't start for two weeks...boxing's still there but w/e. I have a title defense next month I think, hopefully my 66th straight win...but whatever, I beat this guy seventeen times already, all by knockout...you'd think he'd learn. My girlfriend and I called it quits causeeeeeeeeee we decided to be friends instead...more my idea I guess but whatever. Uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh...I hate myspace.
The sky is still blue, I'm alive...i'm sick of people texting me...i still hate myspace. Yeah....today...woo...I got new from my doctors today and they said the cancer is probably never going to come back, which is exciting. My dog ran into a wall today and put a whole in it....don't ask. A few days ago, my friends and I made a spoof on Anchorman...we called it Anchorman 2, which I think is a completely original name...I should upload that.

Yeah...i'm just trying to fill space here...So I finally got my mustang working....I should post a picture...ok...

yeah...go today.

finally

I finally got xbox live working again on my system...lookin to play some familiar people, but no-one on this site is comin' out with a gamertag...*sigh*  Oh well, hit me up gamertag=smd1390

Next-gen MADNESS!!!

I've been standing idly by lately as the gaming community has been swept up in the mass histeria of NEXT-GENERATION CONSOLES!!!  Well, since i've been struggling with my health due to a brain tumor lately, i haven't been on the "up and up" of video games, and therefore missed some of the new gaming news.  But seeing as I just had a surgery and am currently recovering and on the road to good health, i have been able to visit gamespot more, buy some new games, AND look into all of the happenings in the gaming industry.

My feel on these next-gen consoles, is slightly indifferent.  I'm a fan of the old-school.  Point me to a neo-geo arcade machine and some Metal Slug 2, and i'll see you next week.  GAMES are an entertainment medium, plain and simple.  ANYONE, can have fun playin' some Mario or The Legend of Zelda: The Ocarina of Time.  The sad trend on some next-gen consoles are technology is taking the place of the fun.  For example, The PSP has very few truly entertaining games.  It tries to sell it's games because they look incredible on a handheld.  The xbox 360 has a few games doing the same thing.

On the flip-side, some games are focusing on the new technology in order to add new gameplay mechanics.  It's madness I tell you.  I don't know, I think those next-gen consoles have the potential to produce amazing games that revolutionize the medium...but will they actually be created in time to make the hefty console prices worth it...hmmm, who knows.  Until then, i'm going to play some Metal Slug.
