Of course E3 is always an exciting time for gamer's, and this year is yet again no different. I find it hard to suppress my interest in seeing what game's are going to be there. I of course want to see game's I already know about, but im also interested in seeing what kind of surprises could pop up! So instead of making some skewed forum post, and having to repeat myself over and over, I'll just blog this one.

Ever since I got my 60GB Playstation 3, and a copy of Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots, my intrigue for PS3 exclusives has peaked. Im a big shooter fan, and I did take notice of the massive salvo of shooters coming out exclusively for the triple in the coming year(s). Im not going to lie, I tried Resistance: Fall of Man, and wasn't feeling it all that much. So my interest in Resistance is a bit lower than most. But the latest Gameplay reveal and multiplayer details of the second game, have me wanting to see some more. This one is a looker, and I hope to see a stage demo at E3 this year. But that's not the PS3 game Im looking to mouth water over. Killzone 2 has always looked much more fun and powerful than Resistance. I simply have yet to be let down by the war torn military sci-fi shooter, and I cannot wait until February. At Sony day's 08, the Lead design on KZ2 said they would be dumping big info on the game at E3! Information will include the game's new vehicles, and a look at some of the bigger weapons and more unique weapons (Hopefully the Flamethrower from the original trailer is in there). At any rate, Im stoked for Killzone 2 and want to see it. With visuals looking better than any game I've ever seen, and action more intense than call of duty, im hopping for an impressive showcasing at this years E3 from guerilla! (and who know's, maybe we'll finally see atleast a trailer for ShellShock 2, it was announced a few months ago with NO other info). I really hope sony show's off some gameplay of inFAMOUS as well, because that game could be wicked.

Killzone 2 isn't the only game im looking forward to seeing. I guess the one's I wanna see the most, are multiplatform titles. Far Cry 2, which i've already seen a ton of, and the epic Mercenaries 2: World in Flames! Both game's are looking awesome and even though i've seen them in action, im still hoping for a little more hype before they hit this fall. There is one game that's been under wraps for some time. Yeah, so it had a new trailer come out in December last year, and a few weeks ago we saw the first real footage of it. Duke Nukem Forever...stop laughing now. I really actually hope 3D realms is out there. Duke Nukem is one of my all time favorites and im really keeping my fingers crossed that they finally make DNF official for some platforms and maybe an idea of a release. Actually ANY info at this point would be awesome! Speaking of old skool shooter dev's. here's hoping iD Software has RAGE in gameplay form because that game sounds pretty neat. I loved the mad max movies as a kid. Other titles I have some intrest in, but not as much include; Banjo-Kazooie Nuts & Bolts, Project Origin, Mafia II, Splatterhouse, Dark Void, Fallout 3, Dead Space and a few that are just lookers.

That's about it! Im off to enjoy MGS4 and 3, as that's what I've been playing lately. See you at E3! (At least on Gamespot)

UPDATE: The new Game Informer is in, the one with infamous on the cover. Well, there was a preview of Killzone 2 in there and it's been confirmed that KZ2 will have a Co-op campgain and 32-Player multiplayer. Awesome!
