I can't really think of any cons about the PS3 except for the fact that it doesn't play PS2 games. Pros would be the exclusives, ability to upgrade your harddrive, free online, its a Blu-Ray player, and it has Wi-Fi already built in.

If you like platformers you can't go wrong with Ratchet and Clank.
