Hello readers.
I'm sure many of you will have seen the travesty that was Guitar Hero: Van Halen. It was spine chilling, abysmal and awful, all at the same time. So, I've compiled this wee list of spin-offs that would be winnage. Enjoy!
5. Lynyrd Skynyrd
I know, I know. They should be higher. But, as brilliant as LS are, let's face it. Not many people know their songs, other than Sweet Home Alabama and Free Bird, so it would not exactly effortlessly dive into the mainstream. Perhaps one for the fans only, eh...
4: Nirvana
Where can I start? Nirvana was the reason so many lonesome teenagers took up guitar, and for many, (including yours truly) their incredible, soulful music will live on forever. The game could possibly be a great homage to Kurt Cobain, or it could be disrespectful to his memory... Let me know in the comments section.
3: Led Zeppelin
Ah Led Zeppelin. Who doesn't enjoy a bit of LZ? Err... Okay. All modernisation issues aside, the game would be a fantastic way to get the young whippersnappers of today to fully appreciate their music. Either that, or they'll (I use the term loosely) go back to their room and cry about no Singstar: Justin Beiber. Seriously, GH/RB LZ would rock. Literally.
2: Muse
Ahem. Probably because I am a huge Muse fanboy, but also because, well... They're brilliant. Almost all of they're songs are masterpieces, and in my opinion, is easily as good, if not better than the music of yore. And plus, it could have the (frankly, awesome) guitar Matt Bellamy uses as it's unique controller. Look at it! It's all shiny and lasery!
1: Jimi Hendrix
You didn't expect this? Get out. Now. Put simply, Jimi was the greatest guitar player, who has ever existed. I'm done.

Hope you enjoyed it, and feel free to leave your ideas for new GH/RB spin-offs in the comment section, and, I guess that's it. See you,
