sure, but to help you out best, your gonna need to tell us exactly whats going on, or give a little more detail, like if your ethernet cable is snapping into the enet port on the 360 properly, make sure you check both sides of the enet cable aswell, you want to make sure its in firmly for both your internet modem and 360
if it is, check your system settings in the 360 dash board, go to netowrk settings, go to configure network, make sure everything is set to automatic, if it isnt do so, if it is, check your lights on your modem, make sure the light for the enet is lit up on your modem, if it isnt try switching the sides of ur enet cable, if it is, turn your modem off for 30seconds, and your 360, turn ur modem back on first, wait 1min, turn ur 360 back on, and that should help
[QUOTE="SnypesX9878"]i think he's looking for others opinions aswell and wants to hear our thoughts, personally i think if you like RTS games Halo Wars looks like its going to be very promising, i dont it think bungie is going to do a bad job at all, i havent really checked out some of the newer ones comming out but i will and tell you what i think, how about you?craigalan23
Esemble studios is making it not Bungie. Anyway there's tons of great games coming out so i'll just say Star ocean 4 and Resident evil 5.
oh lol, well i didnt really look at it that much, just read a little about it, but from screens that i saw and the little i did hear about it didnt seem to shabby, if its anything like CaC or SC im in all the way :), yea and RE5 doesnt look to bad either, and as for star ocean, have played one of those since playstation one, but i loved that game :)
frontlines fuel of war is a fairly decent game if you dont have anything like battlefield at the time, u can get it for about $9, not the greatest game but not complete garbage in my opinion, plus 50 man servers is fun if you like all out war :)
I'd have to say the biggest let down for me was gears of war 2, that game was soooooo hyped it wasnt funny, i never played the first so i was like, ok ill get the second one because everyone seems to be saying (except for a few, which is normal) that it was the next best thing in gaming, first off i was pissed because there was no splitscreen online with a guest account (i actually found out later that i could actually play splitscreen online but needed 2 gold accounts, which doesnt bother me because of money, but the fact that everyone was going on about how GoW 1 had it like halo with guests allowed)
second, i know i suck at the game, but i can suck at many games and like them alot (halo 3, rainbow six l.v 2, battlefield bc, to name a few lol), it pisses me off that it takes forever to kill someone unless you got a shotgun and blast them when they are not looking, or setup proxy mines and then shot gun them to death, the chainsaw battles were kinda fun, but get old quick, i mean the game has alot of potential but personally its not a game for me, or most of my friends for that matter
but my biggest issue with the game is the time it takes to actually get into a game, i can seriously search for a game, go outside to the store comeback, and theres a 50/50 chance the game will just start to begin or it is still searching for either team members/opponents
hey but some still like the game so if thats what you like, i got no problem with it, im actually happy that you would like the game cause at least you wouldnt feel like you wasted time/money/hope and joy
but its like that with everygame, so games just are more fun for others, i liked gta IV and mass effect, and i was iffy about getting both cause of hearing peoples negative comments, always rent or play a demo first, thats what gears has taught me, and for that i feel like atleast i did get somethin out of it :)
hello, i was just wondering if anyone knew of any splitscreen online games even if its only 2 players, i know that there is not many (even though i think most games should have it, especially with the power of these systems now a days)
me and my friends like to play together online but they dont all own 360s
i recently found out that if you have 2 gold accounts you can actually play ranked games with halo 3 (splitscreen), and also play splitscreen online for gears of war 2 (with 2 gold accounts, got lucky just trying to see if that worked and it did, to bad im not a gears fan lol)
i know this topic has been done a few times but not many people answer or know of that many games, so i also wanted to contribute to what i know of so far as well, if anyone can add to the list of what they know if it would be much apprieciated,
Confirmed Splitscreen Online Games:
Halo 3, GoW, GoW 2 (need 2 gold accounts for splitscreen online), UT3 (or so i hear and read about many times), L4D, GRAW, GRAW 2 (first person is kinda lame though, still fun though), CoD3, Conflict: Denied ops (although have seen not many like the game, never played it myself)
Those are the ones i know of (excluding sports games),
Ones that i heard are rumored to have it, The Club, Marvel UA (not sure if each needs a gold account like GoW2)
I know ranibox 6 las vegas (1 and 2) dont have splitscreen online (which sucks soo bad games that is one of the best 360 games), nor does CoD4 or CoD:WaW, nor do they have bots (and terrorist hunt in r6lv is boring after a few hours, so is co-op campaign after beating it)
anyways thanks for reading the post and please if anyone can confirm the ones listed as rumored to be true or add any other ones they know of (doesnt matter if it needs 2 or more gold accounts) it would help out great to everyone
also, if there are any other games that arent shooters, like gauntlet or marvel UT, and have split online play as well please mention if you know
thanks, synpes
