Still one of the best value for money games on the market, especially the game of the year edition. Best rpg i've played to date. Enjoyed the witcher on pc as a darker grittier more authentic fantasy rpg but it is much more linear in it's scope than oblivion. The assasins guild missions in oblivion are classic stuff for those have a certain contempt for human life. The freedom of the game play is great, you have hours apon hours of exploration and side quests before you ever touch the main quest. As a thief i made a mint just picking pockets around the imperial city, also got enough sneaking skill and some chameleon gear to be able to sneak to the top of sigil towers and steal the stones right out from under their their noses; or playing again as a warrior i honed my combat skills to cut a bloody trail through demon hordes to claim my prize. **** hot! Most people i know have played oblivion through twice before it gets stale, and even then many return in the sparse times between new releases to loiter in its shadows.... or watch from its mountain heights..... This game is one of the classics.
