Few franchises can put out three subsequent equally good games. Silent Hill 3 is excactly what you want it to be.

Guilty ! I love to describe myself as a Silent Hill fan since i played SH1 when it was first released, and yet i waited for 10 years before playing this. I should say shame on me but actuallt it felt good. PLaying thi... Read Full Review

    Silent Hill 4: The Room

A departure from previous entries on the form, but not at its core. Spoiler-free review.

I am litteraly a first day Silent Hill fan. Got the demo back in the days with Metal Gear Solid, and was instanlty hooked. I liked how it was insane and twisted like only the japanese can do it, but still very much roote... Read Full Review

This game wasn't perfect, but at least got the atmosphere and story right, and was fun to play. Good memories.

This game wasn't perfect, but at least got the atmosphere and story right, and was fun to play. Good memories.

Looking back, i had a lot of fun with this game. Sure, no game has ever managed to get CV in 3D right, but this one was awfully close. I love the atmosphere, the story and characters and the fresh new perspective it ... Read Full Review

    Castlevania

This game had a lot of qualities, yet several stupid details prevented it from being great.

This game started off great, but pretty soon became dull. Repetitive dungeons and crazy backtracking coupled with not bad but not very exciting battles. The graphics are some of the best on PS2 but lazy camera means you'... Read Full Review

    Castlevania: Akatsuki no Minuet

Aria of Sorrow is one of the best Castlevania games. Anyone who enjoyed playing as Alucard will enjoy it.

Fans like me have been complaining a lot about Castlevania going downhill after the incredible series of cult classics of the 1990's, culmnitating with the much acclaimed Rondo on NEC and Symphony on PS1. Since then, ... Read Full Review

    Final Fantasy V

Pure Magic. Colorful as candy, touching characters, subtle mood, and some of the best Uemastu music ever.

FFV is the most under-rated of the series. There is one main reason to that : it's a hardcore old school RPG based on the job system, which make this game appealing to a niche market compared to say, FF4 and 7 that are i... Read Full Review

    Final Fantasy XII

Brilliant Gamplay and Art, awkward storytelling.

Well, there's many things that need to be said about this game. First of all let's get this out of the way : no, FFXII doesn't look or feel like a Final Fantasy Game, but that doesn't mean you should disregard it. In fac... Read Full Review

    Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine

    Surprinsingly good and under-rated.

I love 40k and TQ did a great job in bringing to life the characters, places and backstory of the original game. If you compare it to other TPS, Space Marine might not be as good, but if you stop comparing and take the g... Read Full Review

Highly addictive game, and i am not particularly into space-pirates at all...

Metroid Prime is one of the best games ever and a testament to the gamecube superiority over the ugly PS2 in terms of graphic capacity. It has all you expect from a nintendo game : polished flawless gameplay, excellen... Read Full Review

Lazy level Design and frustrating gameplay issues prevent this game for being as great as the first.

Well i loved Pikmin 1 in fact i played it both on Gamecube and Wii, but i think this one is a bit too long and too hard, it seriousely got on my nerve. The final dungeons are too hardcore and too repetitive to be fun. I... Read Full Review

    Red Seeds Profile

Low budget genius - somewhat a cult classic already. Buy it before it becomes a rare find.

Deadly Premonition is bizarre. It's an offbeat game, packed with b-movie and vintage computer gaming réferences, jokes and an offbeat tone, very scary, gore, cheap and clumsy. Yest it all comes together as a unique and f... Read Full Review
