Anytime you are on XBL it tracks your stats, regardless of whether the game has online functionality or not. You clearly have no clue what you're talking about and this thread is pointless.

Wow, I've never seen so much fail in one post, "Halo fan". Online stats means those who play its online, not those who are signed in.

[QUOTE="II-FBIsniper-II"][QUOTE="SoldiersOfF"][QUOTE="angelkimne"]Did you read my post? I know they aren't the same game, what I am saying is that playing the Mythic Disc in ODST counts towards the Halo 3 number, which means that, (assuming everyone who got ODST has at least popped in the Mythic disc), the number for Halo 3 is basically everyone that got ODST plus the number of people that are actually playing the original Halo 3.

No, that would be an unnecessary and stupid thing to do, then why even show separate ODST numbers if they include in the original Halo 3? lol

You do not understand. Halo 3 ODST stats: People that have played ODST's campaign and firefight Halo 3 stats: People that have played Halo 3 Multiplayer with either the original Halo 3 disc OR Halo 3 ODST's Mythic disc.

Ehhhh those are online stats, my good sir. Campaign/Firefight = / = online. Good try, though.

The Halo 3 Mythic disc in ODST counts as Halo 3 on Live, so the H3 number is actually ODST's number plus Halo 3's number, if you see what I mean.

No they are separate, check the webpage.

http://www.bungie.net/default.aspx Only 930k have played ODST in the latest 24 hours whereas 1.4 million have played Halo 3. Wut? Thought everyone would move on to the expansion? O_O

Well outside these forums there is no hype. So I guess of you are talking about forums but I still think HALO has more hype even here. I wonder if U2 will even get a sticky on here when it comes out.

Uncharted 2 is more recognizable now before its release than Halo 3 was before its.

[QUOTE="SoldiersOfF"]Never before have I seen so much hype and recognization around one single game since Ocarina of Time launched back in 98, what is the deal?!Lionheart08

Of course you haven't seen a game get hyped as much. You only just recently joined.

I am talking about real life, not just on forums. Kids these days...
