RE Short Course exam

Today I was supposed to be taking my GCSE RE Short Course Exam, but when I sat down to start the first question I realised it was nothing to do with what I had studied. I then flicked through the whole question booklet and saw no questions that I could answer. I said to the examiner that I have the wrong paper, but she said they're all the same. Then a few other people complained and the examiners had a little meeting and announced that the school had received the wrong exam papers, but we still had to do this one. Apparently it was not possible to get the correct one so everyone had to do the ones given to us. The school sent a letter home to everyone's parents, explaining that our grades would be based on expected grades and previous exam results. I thought the whole thing was ridiculous, and the fact that most people had wasted two years learning the correct topics didn't seem to bother the examiners. I just can't believe how stupid the school or exam board was to mix up the papers, and then act like it was no big deal.
