Viking: Battle for Asgard
Vikings: Battle for Asgard is a surprisingly fun, addictive hack n slash role-playing game. Definitely worth playing.
I had no expectations for this game when I rented it but after the opening cut scene I thought there might be some promise. I haven't played Fable but I have played Oblivion and in terms of graphics, this game is impress... Read Full Review

Riot Act
Didn't hold my interest long enough.
For some reason, it just didn't draw me into it. Sure it is an open sandbox environment, the flip side of Grand Theft Auto, just not implemented nearly as well. The commercial for the game is certainly interesting, but t... Read Full Review

Bullet Witch
Don't bother, this is a waste, unless you just want achievement points. Even Enchanted Arms was more interesting...
The introductory movie could have been what was playing if you left the screen idle before hitting start. Instead there's a lame trailer of Bulletwitch which looks like some half assed job. It actually looks like it migh... Read Full Review

Gears of War
Definately worth playing over and over again despite it being too short.
This is an amazing game, it completely immersed me in it considering that it's a tactical third person shooter and not a role playing game. I Liked: The characters, voice acting, cut scenes, ambiance. Those Berserkers sc... Read Full Review

Lost Planet: Extreme Condition
Fun to play. Got boring real quick. Save points suck causing you to replay entire missions but multiplayer can be fun!
Originally I had bought the Collector's Edition but I ended up returning it since I received it via Gamefly the next day. Storyline is weak but then you don't play this kind of game for the story. The save points a... Read Full Review

Fallout: New Vegas
Fallout New Vegas is addictive & highly immersive up until the game freezes on you. Still, it's been worth the wait.
I should tell you that I hate this game. I hate it so much that since it was released I haven't slept, I've missed classes at school, I've skipped meals, I canceled my appointment with my shrink, I haven't answered any p... Read Full Review

Halo 3
I did not play Halo 2 or it's predecessor, Halo...but I am impressed w/ Halo 3. Just wish the story didn't have to end.
I did not play Halo 2 or it's predecessor, Halo. I am, or I should say, was, a PC gamer at one time. Halo 3 was ordered because a friend of mine kept asking me if I had pre-ordered a copy. I didn't play any demo's and wa... Read Full Review

Grand Theft Auto IV
Story: great. Driving: Realistic. Motorcycle driving: hard.

GTA4: Fun & addictive!
I haven't been a big fan of the GTA series mostly because I hated waiting for the loading screens on my thin PS2 (which I have given to my brother since he can't have a PS3 yet & he broke his PS2 somehow). I played GTA 3... Read Full Review

Sid Meier's Civilization Revolution
Never intended to play this game but then I got addicted to it and can't stop playing it!
Gamefly sent this to me because none of the games in my queue were available. I never intended to play this game let alone rent it but it came anyway. I took it to a friend's house to let him try it out. He fiddled a... Read Full Review

Rogue Warrior
Avoid it unless you are doing research on crappy games.
I was looking forward to this game at one time. It was supposed to be a tactical shooter (like Gears of War or Rainbow 6) but somewhere along the line it turned into a FPS. It was rented for $4.99 from Blockbuster becaus... Read Full Review

Borderlands
4 player RPG/FPS co-op! This game is a mixture of the best of Fallout 3, Army of Two w/ a touch of WoW thrown in.
Too many games out, I wanted this one but MW2 & ODST won in the end, so I rented it & played 2 and 4 player co-op, game is awesome. The only other 4 player co-op game that I know of is Halo 3 & possibly Gears of War 2 - ... Read Full Review

Full Spectrum Warrior
3rd person perspective, part RTS/action/problem solving game that doesn't give me headaches. I like it, a lot.
Without using too many ubiquitous marketing and game site review jargon to describe this game, I just have to say, overall that I like it a lot. Unlike the First Person shooter games that give me headaches, this one keep... Read Full Review
