As it is now 14yrs on - and some 5 years since the company closed down - it's no surprise that the game is now available for free download. You can find it on most of those websites that archive old DOS games.

If "Shannara" is not the game of which you speak, then frankly I have no idea.

No, not that either. I remember it being first person. I can kind of remember a puzzle where there was some kind of special jewel or something on a chimney and you had to get a bird to retrieve it for you or something like that...if that helps any XD
