In terms of prevelance, yeah you're right. The 360 is way weaker though compared to the PS2 in terms of exclusives....even PS3 to an extent too. I'm looking forward to the next gen cuz it's going to be a fat reset button for the console race again. MS has gotten too complacent over the popularity of Xbox Live and their ability to continue wringing money for the Gold membership. It's going to be Sony's game to lose because they are in a perfect position to create a competent service and continue the PSN deals with their subscription and this time people will care unlike now cuz they did this late in the cycle where the majority of game players haven't taken notice.

1. Have you tried reinstalling?
2. Do you have any background processes running?

Am_Confucius
I tried reinstalling it and nothing changed. I didn't have anything else in the background running either, it's just weird that this is the only game giving me this problem.

Not really. BF3 is a buggy game. Chrashes are common

It's a really specific issue though, I haven't had any other issues except for when it locks up when I click Video. I guess I'll just stick to the settings that it defaulted to for now cuz I haven't found a fix yet.

I just installed BF 3 on my new rig and for some reason the game crashes every time I press video in the options menu. I'm not sure what the problem is because it looks like the game defaults to a high-medium to high settings and everything looks and runs great at 60 fps but it would be nice to look at/tweak some graphics options but I can't because the game locks up. My PC: Win 7 64 bit CPU: i5-2320 3.0GHz GPU: GTX 555 1 Gig RAM: 8 gigs I tried updating my video drivers but the recent Nvidia driver fu****everything up and makes all my other games run like at like 5 frames so I just reverted back to the older driver that I had before. I can run Witcher 2, Diablo 3 just fine, BF 3 is the only one so far with issues. I would appreciate any tips on solving the issue, thanks.

I downloaded Lumines and Katamari onto my 8 gig card and have been having fun...except that I noticed while playing Lumines that the gameplay would occasionally slow down and stutter for about a second. In Katamari there was a more serious issue, the audio completely fell out of sync with the video that was playing. I don't know if this is a problem with the game that was downloaded, the system (which I doubt because the Welcome Park didn't have issues), or maybe it's the memory card I have. Any of you guys encounter issues like this?
