They live in a town close to a forest full of monsters and the gates of Tartarus (aka Hell), the sesaon 2 finale and the comic involved a Changeling invasion (the closest thing to a Succubus), one of the villains straight up die on screen by exploding into millions of pieces, one of the ponies can break the sound barrier and cause an explosion or tornado out of nowhere, the main character is the pony equivalent of Jean Grey, and the only pink pony in the show (that is not part of the background) is mentally unstable and could snap at any moment and she also acts like a combination of Harley Quinn and Deadpool.

They can be awesome.
