Soooooooo......people have said that this anime has been a blasphemy bomb to otaku's everywhere. Some have said this is the evil birthchild of corrupted screenwriters. I say NAY! What some people who probably passed this anime looking for the next episode of Durarara or Angel Beats or Kaichou wa Maid-sama forget to realize is that everything has something good in it, and I just so happen to see the goodness in this.

B Gata H Kei is a "beautiful" story of a 15 year old girl who wants to lose her virginity. Personally right here, I could just tell you to go tomy freshman schooland you'll see the same damn thing there. But here's the twist -- She wants to bang 100 guys also! Now, I asked myself when I first heard about this, "WTF did we anime fans do to deserve this kind of storyline? I didn't ask for this when I wanted my next season of K-ON! delivered!". But fortunately, the main character is so dense that she has trouble even trying to get a guy to date her first. So this is where the fun comes in. She has a mini version of herself floating around in her imaginary world called the "God Of Sex"(no kidding here), and all she can do is show off her beard and give advice to herself in her head. Another thing is that she chooses the most pathetic high school guy she can find to do it with too, and that I can't remember why she chooses him either but she does. As the days go on, she tries to find a way to get him in the mood so she can finally lose it.

Stefan Says: This depends on the type of anime you're looking for. If you want comedy gold with a pinch of cuteness, you're halfway there to finding it. If you want pure ecchi, sorry bud. You're not finding it here for some reason. If you want an anime to pass the time with, then DING DING! WE HAVE A WINNER! It's not much of an anime as far as storyline and pure originality goes, but it's something. Unlike over on ANN where they just stabbed this show to death, tossed it in the trash, then poured dynamite all over it and bombed it to hell, where it only laid on the ground as dried up bones and could only rot as the ANN reviewers pissed on it's remains.
