So I have a PS2, and Crash Team Racing. What the hell do I need to play this game 4-player? I've got a multi-tap for slimline PS2 (3rd party) but the game only registers port one. Not to mention it doesn't read my PS1 memory card saves (I thought it was supposed to).

Please don't tell me I need a PS1 multi-tap and PS1 controllers to play a PS1 game on my PS2. It seems pretty stupid, but there must be a way to play four player without finding a cheap PS1
