The PC has the potential, but remember that game developers try to make the game accessible to everyone. You won't sell if your system requirements are too high. (e.g. Nvidia GTX 295, 8Gb RAM etc.) Even Crysis, which most PC gamers boast about...well...here are its system requirements RECOMMENDED: CPU: Core 2 Duo/Athlon X2 or better RAM: 1.5GB Video Card: NVIDIA 7800 Series, ATI Radeon 1800 Series or better VRAM: 512MB of Graphics Memory Storage: 12GB Sound Card: DirectX 9.0c Compatible ODD: DVD-ROM OS: Microsoft Windows XP or Vista DirectX: DX9.0c or DX10 Consoles don't have system requirements so game devs can use its maximum potential, but of course you can't compare a GTX 295 and the RSX 'Reality Synthesizer' -PS3 (which is based on 7800 GT architecture) btw did you see the sys req. of crysis? not minimum, RECOMMENDED GeForce 7800 series, granted it will work better on a 295 or an HD 5970. I like my 360 just as much as my PS3 or PC. In fact, we should have all of them. Merry Christmas! :D
