Sony recently put out the following press release to best describe the features offered by the high definition media format, Blu-ray. This is of course what the PlayStation 3 will be using, so if you're still in the dark as to what it all means, check out the following info:

Blu-ray was jointly developed by the Blu-ray Disc Association (BDA) and is supported by more than 170 of the world's leading consumer electronics, personal computer and media manufacturers including Apple, Dell, Hitachi, Hewlett-Packard, JVC, LG, Mitsubishi, Panasonic, Pioneer, Philips, Samsung, Sharp, Sony, TDK and Thomson. Blu-ray also delivers the broadest range of home entertainment content— seven of the eight major movie studios have already announced titles for Blu-ray, including Warner, Paramount, Fox, Disney, Sony, MGM and Lionsgate.

With Blu-ray Disc technology, the PlayStation 3 system offers game developers unprecedented power to express their creativity and a larger canvas in which to create an unsurpassed level of interaction, sophistication and reality. The format offers more than five times the storage capacity of traditional DVDs and can hold up to 50GB on a dual-layer disc. Add to that Blu-ray Disc audio which redefines "life-like." Example:

First person: - is a ff game

                       - is from Square Soft

                       - the main character is Cloud

Next one:    Final Fantasy VII

First person again: Correct

I Just finish the game and it was great!!!! while it is not the same as other people say if u are a ff fan u sure want to get y' ur hand on it cause there a great fmv with Cloud, Tifa and Barret in it :D, Even if it was short but it was worthwhile and the Ending is really nice.
