EA to take 2 and call me in the morning...

Hey everyone,

So, you probably all have heard about the whole "Take 2 and EA merger" scandal by now and most probably are screaming "NO its the end of the world!" Well, I don't think its the end of the world...because its business. When I look at the scenario, all it screams to me, as a gamer, is that we have to deal with crappy EA servers on GTAIV's inevitable spin-offs, Midnight Club series, and so on. Besides that, I doubt we will see any other changes to Take 2 besides getting more money to make their games have GRAPHICS THAT DON'T LOOK LIKE CRAP and maybe even more time to make their games. Sure, many fear that GTA will become a "Madden" but in reality, it kinda is a Madden already. Sure, its not out every year, but the last couple of GTA games were the same thing with new features and character rosters. I mean, GTA: [insert city] will be announced a year later, and then a new GTA PSP, and their has got to be some type of GTA spin-off coming for DS and Wii, since I really can't see it not coming. Anyways, that show I look at it.

For a traditional side for once, I will talk about what I am doing in gaming. First off, I finished Bulletwitch on my 360, which was a pretty terrible game. I mean, the entire game seems to be about flipping Alicia(the main character) around, getting a good view of her crotch, and then the rest is "never let go of R trigger....ever." Yea, I considered that crappy. Moving along, I am now in limbo of what to play. I recently got 4200 MS points and blew it all on 4 arcade games, add-on content for Overlord, and some themes and gamer pics. The games I got are Gripshift, Triggerheart Exelica, Discs of Tron, and EXIT. All were wise purchases, since I enjoy playing them a good amount. Gripshift is a game I wanted to get on PS3, but getting it on 360 with achievements was way better of a deal. Sadly, PSP edition's map editor is missing which makes it feel gimped. Discs of Tron has been my addiction since I purchased it, playing at least once a day, and slowly, I gain ground on its leaderboard. Triggerheart and EXIT were both decent purchases, but I am stuck on both in figuring out how what to do at the point of the game. In EXIT, its solving a puzzle. In Triggerheart, its figuring out how get Faintear to appear in levels 1 and 3 and how to get the true endings.

As for the other consoles, I'm currently not playing any of them. The Wii is something I want to jump back into this month, so I might limit my time on 360 so I can make Wii the lead system of choice for March. The PS3, as usual, lags behind from a lack of games. I'm hoping to get all PS3 games from Easter, with Unreal Tournament 3 and Folklore on my mind. Those two games will definitely shift my interest. Anyways, thats whats up with me in gaming terms,

Still without a PC,
