I downloaded the mass effect 2 gibbed mod, and fiddled with it a little bit.

I changed hair style, color, and eye color/glow.

I tried to save it, but didn't know how, so stupid me, I went into the file that i wanted to change and put save_002.pcsav.

Later on, I overwrote my 001 save file.

I started up mass effect 2, and I didnt get past the "press any key to continue" screen.

So I went back and deleted the 002 save file.

Then I took the whole save folder out, but its STILL not working.

Any suggestions?

Know whats funny? My account got jacked (or well, someone tried too) a while back. I gave out my steam username and a bit of my password, but since it was a combination, in the end, he couldnt hack my account!

link you steam account to your email, how hard is that?

Contact support you will get it back.

DanielDust

how hard is it to change emails on steam.... Answer: It's not. and it's probably the 2nd thing the hacker did after changing his password.

Here's the thing, you can't, it's impossible, not easy or hard. You link an email account and after that if you want to change it again it sends a confirmation email, only if you log in on your email account and press the confirmation link it'll let you change the email address.

IMO it's shouldn't even let you start your games until you take care of this step...it saves a lot of users that press dubious links the trouble of waiting for their account to be resolved by Steam or the possibility of getting a VAC ban.

Actually, when I was trying to change my e-mail for the whole steam support thing, I added a new email, confirmed it on the email that I added, and confirmed it with the email that I entered. (and I didnt hack anyones account, I was trying to get support for a game with my brothers steam account, to which hes abandoned.)

Alright thanks guys, but as for what parts to update, I've posted a new thread in the hardware section. And to me, it is the time. This isn't the first issue I've had when it comes to this game. Not on this computer either. It took me about 2 days to finally figure out how to stop it from crashing on my brothers updated computer (which cost about 2000 dollars and is only a few months old) THEN I had to figure out how to bring up the sound. Needless to say, there are alot of problems with this game, but its definetly worth it once its up and running.

Im honestly not sure. I have a 64 bit intel dual core processor, but it says its a 32 bit operating system. And honestly, I dont know jack squat about computer operating systems lol. and at 14 with a monthly income of benifits of 150$ from the government, 1000 smackers is a little out of range for me. I don't mean to be rude, im just looking at it realistically. And would more RAM work even if its a 32 bit system? What does gaming mainly use anyway?
