Wow yet another person jumping on the halo 3 bandwagon (am I the only sane person out there?). Go for Gears of War, Assassins Creed, Mass Effect, Half Life 2 TOB, Army of Two, and as for 08- GTAIV, Turok, Left 4 Dead, Mercenaries 2, Battlefield Bad Company, Devil May Cry 4, Star Wars The Force Unleashed, Legendary The Box(if it goes through), Prototype, Fallout , and last but not least Borderlands.

Wow no one is givin it up for my main man Snake. I agree mario has the most experience. Beserker, Big daddy, and General raam should have no place in this, they all die in the games, and are not playable characters (im leaving out raam in the multiplayer- no story in multiplayer) Now to list the good of all the rest.

Snake (my favorite)- Stealthy, called the greatest soldier ever, cloned after the greatest soldier ever, best knowledge of all combat CQC and long range, Strong willed.

Masterchief- Has suit to enhance him, good run and gun experience, vehicular knowledge, good knowledge of futuristic weapons

Mario- Has ability to mutate into gigantic version of self, has most experience, spectacular knowledge of oddly shaped enemies

(for the record mario has no more place in this contest, he was designed for children and would not hold a stick in mature fights.)

Now if you stripped it all down to hand to hand Snake would win. If it you were to give each a machine gun and say go at it masterchief would win(sadly). Overall modern battle experience Snake. If you were to give each a vehicle masterchief would win. In a stealthy fight Snake would win.

Overall snake beats masterchief because of better skills,and experience,all masterchief has is his equipment, no strategy what-so-ever.
