Spencer626, are you retarded? I Own all the games that you claim look better than Halo 3. Halo 3 looks a little worse than Gears of War, but Bioshock and Resistance don't look as good as Halo 3. The worst looking game out of all the ones you mentioned is Resistance: Fall of Man, and besides that gaming isn't about graphics, and if graphics matter that much then go buy a 4k pc and enjoy your graphics.
This game runs well on either twin 7950 Go cards, or one 8800 with atleast 512, this game is actually pretty demanding in graphics, and as most people actually cant afford ridiculous pc prices, i recommend the xbox 360 version, you get more fun out of it, achievement points, and if you have a HD set up it's awesome.
assdude6989, once again we get someone who doesn't know history or what is going on in the current market. Graphics don't make a game, the gameplay does. Sure current gamers have their limitations with how crappy graphics can be, but in the whole grand picture graphics have little influence as opposed to gameplay. Lair recieved a 4.5 from gamespot, the only good feature according to gamespot is it looked amazing, but controls and gameplay all around sucked. Xbox regular was technically superior to Playstation 2, but ps2 dominated and is still king. History tends to repeat itself in the presence of ignorance, and Sony apparently hasn't learned that. Xbox 360, technically inferior to PS3, is dominating, and if you look back one year, xbox sold approx 1 million more consoles than ps3 currently has. Xbox 360, as many people have put it, is and will be the ps2 of this generation of gaming, it just offers the most for the best price. DS, technically inferior to psp, dominates the current handheld gaming market because it is inovative (touch screen), dual screens, PSP, umm.....multimedia, i used it for music, but it just didn't deliver in space, the umd just isn't very appealing to me, internet is practically the best feature on the psp. Games on the psp are absolutely terrible, (killzone daxter, and grand theft auto are the only games i enjoy on the system). PSP is losing because sony just doesn't seem to get it. The consumers love something that has the most content for the best price (that is why your sony fan boys brag about blu-ray winning, because it has the most exclusive content). Content is what makes a system, format, what ever, so sony needs to quit making tiny little upgrades like .2 mm thinner, video output, and start working on the potential content. So, DS > PSP because of content.
Ok, so Gamestop says Halo 3 is being released on September 25th. On top of that the graphics do look moderately rough in the beta but still a huge step up from Halo 2. The gameplay in Halo 3 is totally different, I've played quite a bit and there doesn't seem to be an autolock feature like in Halo 2. The portable grav lift, power drainer, and bubble shield change the game play quite a bit. Bungie really did a good job with balancing out the game by making the needler more powerful and starting players off with the Assault riffle, which is awesome. Also they took out all the glitches related to the reload button such as BXR(for all you halo players), BXB, and double shot. Halo 3, in my opinion, is a perfect mix between Halo 2 and Halo 1. It incorporates all the best features from both games and plays great. Good work Bungie!
