I loved ME3. Overall it is a great game. The only real problems I had with it were the auto dialogue, the ending, and the meaningless fetch quests. Other than that I thought it was a great game. To me the extended cut didn't justify the ending. Nor did Leviathan help justify the ending. They did make it somewhat more clear and made a bad ending good. But still its bad fundamentally.
After the ME3 ending I was still pumped for more dlc and more content but less so than the previous 2. Than Leviathan came out and it was so bad I lost even more interest. Than I thought Omega has to be good. Than that kind of blew. Now I really dont have any interest in ME3 anymore. If I ever do replay all 3 games, which I suspect I will, I will not play these pathetic excuses for downloadable content. I will not be getting this dlc right away like I usually would. Ill wait at least a month or 2. I have so far been disappointed 3 times. I am sick of it. I have very low expectations for this dlc, all hands on deck or not. Everyone else should be wary. These days shit comes in surplus.
The part about Halo 4 threw me off. Anyway to everyone complaining it doesn't matter what we say here. We can argue all day about how Microsoft is shit. Actions speak louder than words though. If everyone just canceled there subscriptions than Microsoft would have to take a serious look at their business model. Lets be honest though, there is no way you can get that many people to just stop playing xbox live. Everyone will continue paying while small groups will not be. Microsoft will barely see the effects of this. Unless a significant amount of people stopped using the service. Which won't happen anytime soon.
Most of us will just continue paying for the service. I know I will. Why? I may not want to pay but none of my friends have PS3. It seems a pretty stupid reason, it is. But I have accepted that I pay for stupid reasons. Although with the new xbox right around the corner I wonder if I should continue purchasing the service. I wonder if I say for example buy a 1 year membership and than new xbox comes out will I have to make a new account or can I simply carry over my membership?
I'll be waiting to see the reviews before deciding to get this or not. No more pre ordering Bioware games until I see reviews and fan feedback. If it gets like subpar reviews or feedback from fans ill probably just wait a a year or 2 when the price goes down to like 20 bucks and pick it up.
@Blue_Tomato I agree. I finished playing around 125hours. Dawnguard brought me up to 139. But I see your point this is just a little snack before we get our next expansion like Dawnguard but hopefully even better. I also am looking forward to the next fallout as I think that fallout game on the new creation engine would be great!
I really like this DLC. The fact of the matter is not everyone has an amazing PC that can run Skyrim so I think this is worth the 5 bucks. I just hope Bethesda knows that they can't scrap this now. Every Elder Scrolls from now on needs something like this.
