The most I would ever pay for any console is 300 dollars. Period. Which is why I don't have a PS3 or 360 yet. I want them, but for the price of a 360 I bought an Intellivision with 30 games, a Colecovision with 20 games, an Atari 7800 with 15 games, a Virtual Boy with 3 games, a Jaguar with 15 games and two controllers, an Atari Lynx II with 3 games, and a SEGA 32X (boxed) with 2 games.savebatteryThe 360 costs $300 goofball! Of course you could get the arcade that comes with 512MB memory (but 256 really--they upgraded it recently for NXE) for $200 or a bit pricier the Elite for $400 with a much bigger HDD than necessary (standard is 60GB) with Halo 3 and Fable 2.

Modern Warfare 2 is expected to sell very near to 8 million in its first week of availability - no game has accomplished this...
If Halo 3 didn't don't expect Modern Warfare 2 to do that.....
Well no crap. In response to the topic title, Halo 3: ODST.I played through Mario Galaxy, twice in fact to get all the stars (once mario, once luigi). It's a pretty good game I said, it's just not super great. If I were to give it a score I'd give it a 8.0. I prefer tons of games of it. And not a big deal, but there's no reason for it to not be using a standard controller--> only certain mini games use it and then it's shake for spin (easy mapped to a button) and pointing to star bits which I don't think is something very beneficial. As for Metroid, again, I want to get it, but not for $50. It's a dozen hour or so FPS type game (although more in a sense like bioshock minus rpg if I'm correct). Neither are worth full price to me. At least, I don't think Metroid is. Either way, this far from release, I'm definately not paying for it.[QUOTE="Space_Hole"][QUOTE="AmayaPapaya"]
A lot of People hate Super Mario Galaxy when they first play it, but if you stay through you will learn to love! Metroid Prime 3is Probably my Favorite game on Wii! Metroid Prime is Highly Rated! As soon as you buy Metroid You will love it! Zelda is my favorite Series of ALL TIME! Metroid comes out second!

So if Halo: Reach was coming out today and had a thread like this, despite having been hyped AAA for ages and the majority voted A it would void the whole past?[QUOTE="Space_Hole"][QUOTE="OreoMilkshake"]And the majority hyped it A. Which is what counts.ActicEdge
Yup, that's how a hype thread works. You will look horrid if one of your most hyped games like AAA potential is only A hype. It'll all balance out.
But this was one of the wii's games that's been hyped to no end for a while now. Didn't when High Voltage announced other iwi games people grabbed to them like something heavy hitters?[QUOTE="Space_Hole"]I don't think there really is a wii game worth buying at full price. AmayaPapaya
Thats because all you see in your mind are hardcore games...you wouldn't think of buying or playing Super Mario Galaxy now would you? Do you even know of Metroid or Zelda? Or how about Super Smash Brothers Brawlwhich is by far the best Fighting game ever...period.
Let's see. I bought Super Mario Galaxy at full price actually, but was rather disappointed. It's not that it's short, it's just not that great. I think it has to do with the linearity. Smash I paid for full price as well and then I realized I paid full price for a fighting game. It's a good game and to those who'd buy osmething like Street Fighter full price it's worth it, but no fighter deserves to be full priced. They just don't have the lasting value or content to justify it. Now Zelda and Metroid. Hell yes to zelda, but I bought that for the gamecube. lol. Metroid....not really. Falls under bioshock's wait until it hits $20 thing. I will be buying the prime trilogy though. (i haven't played any)Sorry your not giving the Wii a fair chance.
To be truthful, I really did. I bought it with quite a bit of enthusiasm. Then I realized that pretty much that its motion control was really judge a pointer and shaking/tilting and that the games just were all low budget pieces of crap. I bought it like December 2007 and I've only bought I think 3 games. I have played quite a bit more but you know, wii games never go down in price so I had to rent them/borrow them (because no way in hell is Wario: Shake it worth $50)[QUOTE="Space_Hole"]Oath. Why do wii games suck so bad? -Oath
Since when do Wii games suck?
when did the wii come out? November something in 2006?Ok, well it looks like the official hype is A.
I'm still gonna say AA after the MoH:H2 review and the CoD:W@W review.
But this isn't how you guys judge flops and whatnot? Because I voted for A, but the majority of Nintendo fans have easily hyped this AA-AAA. And the majority hyped it A. Which is what counts. So if Halo: Reach was coming out today and had a thread like this, despite having been hyped AAA for ages and the majority voted A it would void the whole past?
